Serein needs permission to lock apps, and that permission can get switched off. Open Serein: if it's off, you'll see a message on the home screen with a button to turn it back on. If a lock was meant to start at a set time, it can take up to a minute to kick in.

Open Serein, tap the locked group of apps on the home screen, then tap the app you need. Take a short breath, then choose how long you want it for. It locks again by itself when the time's up.

That lock is set to Strict and it's on right now, so it stays as it is until it ends. That's the point of Strict. If you really need a break, you get one rainy day a week: an hour off from every lock.

Yes, on the yearly plan. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then. The monthly plan starts straight away, with no trial.

Apple handles your subscription. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Serein. Cancel at least a day before it renews so you aren't charged again.

Sign in with the same Apple account, open Serein and tap Restore. Your subscription comes back straight away. Your sessions and streaks stay on your old phone, so they won't move across.

You've turned on Delete protection, which stops Serein being removed while a focus session or strict lock is on. Wait until it ends, or turn Delete protection off in Serein's settings.

In Serein, go to Settings and tap Delete account. You'll leave your group and your Friends profile is erased. Everything else in the app stays as it is.
